Tawandang Mahason Korat

Loved this place in Korat. It’s hard to hear that it will be closing down in this location. Really loved the band and built a nice friendship with many of the singers. I only come to Thailand every few years and always looked forward to come here when I visited. Hopefully Tawandang can reopen in Korat in the future.

Tawang Daeng Korat offers a mixed bag of experiences. On the positive side, the food is good, which is always a plus for a nightclub. The live music is also great, with a good mixture of Thai, English and Chinese songs.

However, the slow service can be frustrating as I waited a long time for drinks and food.

If you're looking for a lively nightclub with good food and live music, you might enjoy it. However, be prepared for a potentially crowded and rowdy atmosphere (especially as the night wears on) with slow service.

Can’t complain at all, great service, great atmosphere. Usually pretty busy. After a few beers you will leave meeting some awesome people.

Tawan Daengs are an institution and Korat is right up there for a great night out. Expect it to be packed if there's a special act on the card. Service is very sharp, you won't go thirsty! The food is good. The decor deliciously Gothic but I'm not sure if that was intended. It's a must do in Thailand. BTW even if there's no big act on you'll be treated to a great night of entertainment by top class musicians and a great stage show.
