Blue Sea Bar Cha-Am

We ate at Blue Sea Bar and loved it. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and the prices were really reasonable. It’s not fancy, but the beachfront setting and friendly service made it a great spot for a relaxed, laid-back meal

The bar is well located and fairly well priced. However, service very poor. Food took well over an hour to arrive and came one plate at a time, my daughter finished her dinner before any others arrived. My Tom Kha was ok, but nothing to write home about. My husband's spicy Thai chicken salad was fried chicken in sweet chilli with a few sliced onions and tomatoes on a leaf of lettuce. No offer of drinks whilst waiting, although the barman did apologise dir the delay.

The location and the super friendly service are great. The food is OK.
Both the bartender and the chef are very friendly and welcoming.
The cocktails were OK for the price. I've had worse and more expensive elsewhere.
The food was OK. Fried squid with garlic was very good. The goong-ob-wun-sen and the chicken wings were OK.
(Note, we did takeout, which is why everything is in boxes.)
And something that is often overlooked, the plain white rice was excellent.
Two cocktails and food for under 900 Baht doesn't seem excessive for a beachfront restaurant.
Nice decor and atmosphere.

Very cool little beach bar Café right on the beach. Prices are almost local level. The owner is very friendly. Speaks pretty good English. The food is absolutely delicious. Looking forward to a long long time of being a customer here. They do not accept credit card however, they do except local Thai scan.

We came here for cocktails after dinner elsewhere. It is so perfect with all its lights and decorations. Although we only came for a drink I can certainly recommend this place.
The owner switched on the lights and reopened the bar at 10.30pm to give us a great night.
