Lucky Bar

Got the wrong drink first, overcharged, they reduced the bill while still expensive but at least they got me the correct drink. 😔

A quiet pub in the main strip of Khon Kaen's bar and restaurant strip catering for expats and tourists.
Welcoming smile, music not too loud, well-priced beers, and the ladies are not intrusive if you're just after a few quiet drinks.
Admittedly, I visited most recently during the Covid-19 border lockdowns so it was unusually quiet along the whole strip.
However, I have visited previously and, unlike bars nearby, they do not crank the music out at ear-shattering levels.
Nor do they have a row of expats glaring at anyone else walking down the road they don't recognise: one of the finest ways to attract customers...
Probably drive back north in the new year. As KK is my half way point, and I stay overnight there, another visit to Oi's Lucky Bar is on the cards.

Great bar in Khon Khaen with impeccable service especially Fon who is really nice and friendly.
