Wonderful experience from the beautiful serene setting to tge amazing massage. I was greeted with a cold towel & hibiscus tea while completing intake form. I was then taken to get my feet cleansed & scrubbed and proceeded to the treatment room for 60 minute thai massage. I changed into massage clothes and my therapist Pond gave a relaxing and truly therapeutic massage experience. After the massage, I was guided to the shop to enjoy a cup of ginger tea and rice cracker. I can't wait to come again!!

It’s a beautiful space and the experience before and after is pleasant with welcome tea/ goodbye tea and cookie and nice environment.
As for the sessions, was a little disappointed in my Thai massage. You pay twice as much but I’ve had better Thai massages for 300 baht. I also had a facial and that was actually quite nice. I wonder if they more specialize is spa treatments. Anyhow. You pay for the environment but not sure it’s worth it.

Do yourself a favour when you are in Chiang Mai and looking for a massage: come to Fah Lanna Spa. It stands between Fahtara Coffee and Fah Lanna Art Museum (both wonderful places to have a meal and visit respectively). The service is the best, the atmosphere and ambience feel like a small bubble of paradise in between the bustling old city, all your senses are engaged with the wonderful aromas of the herbal incense, the sound of the small water fountains, the lush greenery and wooden exteriors. But this review would be amiss without me telling you that the Thai balm massage I had was the best I had in the city. My sinuses have fully opened up and the neck pain I had for several days is gone. I feel reborn again. Thank you to my wonderful therapist and the staff at this wonderful spa, you will always have a returning customer whenever I visit Chiang Mai again.

Hands down one of the best—if not the best—massage experiences of my life. And I do not say that lightly. I booked the Traveler’s Rest, which is a full, beautifully thought-out journey: it starts with a deeply relaxing foot massage, moves into a traditional Thai massage that somehow finds muscles you didn’t know you had, and finishes with a luxurious oil massage that melts whatever tension is still clinging to you. Every transition felt intentional and unhurried, and the therapist’s skill and awareness were exceptional.

What really stood out was the attention to detail and overall care. The pressure was adjusted perfectly, the environment was calm and spotless, and I never once felt rushed. After the massage, you’re taken to a private room with a shower—an absolute gift that makes the entire experience feel complete rather than abruptly “over.” I walked in tired, sore, and travel-worn… and walked out feeling grounded, restored, and honestly a little amazed. Worth every single cent and then some.

Unquestionably the best massage I’ve ever had. Yes it is pricier than most but it’s not just a message but an entire experience. The spa is ornately beautiful with every detail well thought out. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, you are in a whole different paradise. Highly highly recommend the full body Thai massage with the balm.
