Great place. Was there with my girlfriend for a few drinks.
Mary is an absolute gem on the service side.
All the girls were attentive.
I cant imagine whether you were there as a single, couple, or just a regular. They adjust to whatever you are after.

Stop in and have a drink. Order some food across if you like and just enjoy it for what it is.

To the comment about prices being high end. Hardly. Drink in your room if you're that strapped

Amy’s bar has been here for at least 20 years and hasn’t changed much,the strip has changed over time, less bars at the entrance ( which have been filled with food places) the strip has a partial roof over it ( at the entrance) prices in this area are on the high side. Still gets very noisy at night with all the bars competing for business ( load music)
Plenty of food choices at the entrance to the strip. Not much happens during the day in this strip, gets hot and there’s no breeze.
All the action is at night.

The best welcome by the nicest of people Amy and Mary are total legends and friends who I have known for 10 years x it's my go to bar in Ao Nang they look after you so well and it's impossible to leave sober ha ha shots shots shots x

A night out in Ao Nang for a solo traveller. It was raining and I decided to drop in for a few beers. I was the only customer and the hostess played bingo with me. As it got busier later on, another hostess Mary came by and was friendly. I ended up playing pool with a German traveller and with some of the Thai girls. We played more bingo and had more drinks. A beer cost 90 baht and I bought the lady a drink for 200 baht. Overall it was an unexpected fun night with no one being pushy and aggressive.

Owned by a nice family. Haven't been in about 5 years, but the same people own it and they're all very welcoming and friendly. Decided to write this review because I saw a couple of negative reviews - DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! You'll have a great time at Amy's whether you're single, married, male or female. This is a girlie bar, but it is also like a normal bar. If you're just looking for a laugh and a few beers the girls will leave you alone. Just a top, top place, ignore the muppets giving bad reviews...
