Absolutely unforgettable! Thanks to The Hangover 2, Tilac Bar in Soi Cowboy was at the top of our list – and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a night out. Meeting the owner, who kindly allowed us to take pictures inside, was a real highlight and such an honour. If you’re looking for a fun, lively nightlife experience in Bangkok, Tilac Bar is an absolute must-visit.

I visited Tilac in December. It’s a calm and straightforward place, nothing too crazy going on. Communication can be a bit difficult as some staff don’t speak much English, including the hostesses. That said, everything felt honest and there were no scams. I might visit again for a relaxed, lazy evening. Not the place if you're expecting true bangkok nightlife experience.

In an unexpected stroke of luck, I discovered that NO SMOKING is allowed inside the club unlike most of the other filthy air smoker-pig bars.
Cannot add photos due to camera restrictions, but there was a wide variety of pretty young dancers.

I checked out Tilac because it was in the Hangover movie, and I wasn’t disappointed. The atmosphere is great, the girls are nice, the mamasans aren’t pushy, and everything’s all good with the bill.

This bar is right in the middle of Soi Cowboy and the drinks are cheaper than the bars near by. The toilets were very clean too.
