So yesterday I woke up late after brunch, thinking about whether to choose Pattaya or Bangkok for my first nightlife trip. I’ve stopped by Pattaya before Walking Street, Soi 6, soapy massage spots and gogo bars are all nearby, the crowd is mostly foreign, beer is a bit cheaper compared to KL, bar fines are usually reasonable, and there are plenty of freelancers near Beach Road but Bangkok is bigger, with a variety of KTVs and clubs, although prices can be pricey.
Has anyone ever used Grab taxi for Thailand nightlife around Pattaya late at night? How do you explain to the driver when going to Soi 6 / Walking Street, where’s the best place to get dropped off, or are there tricks to avoid being charged more at night? Please share experiences on short time vs long time logistics if possible, thanks bro.
