Is Chiang Mai Nightlife Worth the Trip?

Hey everyone, I'm curious if Chiang Mai's nightlife is actually worth it for a trip. I mean, coming from Sweden, I’m used to pricey nights out, but I’ve heard it's more laid back here.

Are the bars and massage spots on Loi Kroh Road a good way to spend the evening? Thinking about hitting a few places tonight, just wondering if it's gonna be a good time or if I should save my money for a bigger city.
