So update on my situation... Last night at 3 AM, I tried using Grab after leaving a gogo bar in Nana. The app works fine, but if there aren't any drivers nearby, they often won't accept the request, and sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes. Taxis are more reliable with the meter, but if you're bringing a girl out from the bar (taking her home) or have luggage, Grab is cleaner and more comfortable inside. The estimated arrival time was quite accurate. One last tip: at night, it's smoother to set the pickup point near a main road, like in front of a 7-11, rather than waiting on stairs or in narrow alleys. If you're in a hurry, it's faster to specify the route and call the driver, but it really depends on the situation...
