Just got back to the hotel, still fuming a bit. Met a working girl near Nana after a few gogo bars, she seemed keen, we agreed a short time and a price, walked to my room around midnight and then midway she said the price was double and got stroppy told me the plan changed, tried to guilt me.

Ended up standing at the foot of the bed, negotiating, paying a reasonable compromise and sending her on her way; felt dodgy, lesson learned: clarify up front, check the stairs/exit route in the building, and don't be shy to walk if something smells off. Not my best night but hey, Bangkok nightlife throws you curveballs...
