Unlike most spots, House of Nox stands out right from the entrance and the interior. It feels a little like a spa, and the small courtyard even has a corner where you can grab a coffee before or after your session, which fits Chiang Mai's laid-back mood perfectly. Because it takes up a whole detached house, your first impression is less adult massage parlor and more charming little boutique hotel.
Honestly, the atmosphere was so calm and lounge-like that I thought the mood I came for just wasn't going to happen today. But once the session started, the therapist's service was so much better than I expected that the energy came right back up. I left healed by the setting and thoroughly satisfied with the service.

It's within walking distance of the Night Bazaar and Tha Phae area, and about 10 minutes from Tha Phae Gate by songthaew (red truck) or Grab. Tucked into a quiet lane as a private, stand-alone house, it feels noticeably cozier and more relaxed than the busy nightlife strip.
