Hi there, just having coffee and thinking about renting a condo in Pattaya for a month instead of changing places every night. Last week I briefly checked out Soi Buakhao and Beach Road, the lighting and AC were good, but location matters a lot.

I’ve stayed in a condo for a few days before, it was quiet, had my own kitchen, a break from the nightlife, yet still quick access to Walking Street, Soi 6, or a Gogo Bar evening. Question for the community: Who has calculated for 1 month, what’s better, a fixed contract or monthly rent through Airbnb? How is it with electricity/AC bills, is the internet stable enough for Zoom calls or is it expensive? Any tips on landlords, proximity to Beach Road vs Buakhao, and whether short-term living with the freelancer scene is practical?

One more thing, I’m particularly interested in whether it’s worth it if you want to go out often in the evenings — Bar Fine, Lady Drink, Soapy Massage occasionally, is it more practical in a condo for short or long term? Please share your experiences briefly, thanks.
