Just got back to the hotel in the early hours, quick recap. Sharing my actual tipping standards from massage shops around Soi Cowboy all the way to Nana gogo bars.
Massage shops vary by service, but after a basic massage I just leave 50-200 on the table on the way out. If it was full service, nuru massage, or soapy I put a bit more on top at the end. If it feels awkward just hand over cash cleanly and leave. For gogo bars, lady drinks are sometimes bought from outside, I give around 20-100 while drinking at the bar, and on top of the agreed amount for bar fine or short time I add a small extra tip. The girl's expression matters too, being too tight with it leaves a bad taste.
My tipping rule: if satisfied with the service, be generous; if it felt like a rip-off or the vibe was off, skip it. Always have clean small cash ready. Tipping drivers, doormen, and lady drinks staff a little keeps things smooth, and when heading somewhere for round 2 I usually add a bit more depending on the girl's mood lol. Anyway nightlife runs on vibes... u know, play it safe.
