So yesterday I wandered Beach Road after midnight, started near the pier, walked toward the north end past the seafood stalls and ended up near the 7-11 where a few girls were hanging out. Few were freelancers, some clearly working the pavement and others just waiting for tuk-tuks; approach is direct, they'll offer short time or longer and expect a negotiation, lady drinks and a bar-fine style conversation but street style. Watch your timing, after 2am the selection thins and prices get a bit firmer, and avoid the ones who suddenly want to bring a mate along unless u want drama; I took one back to a nearby guesthouse, fair deal, no fuss, tidy. Tip: if u prefer quieter, head to the soi off Beach Road with the guesthouses, easier to chat and less fishbowl pressure, but bring cash and don't flash it, simple stuff, enjoy or meh, your call...
