Update on my late-night chaos, heading back from Walking Street around 2am, coffee spilled on my shirt, wondering if the baht bus still runs. Good news, yes it does but rarely, you might wait 10-20 minutes if you are on Beach Road near Second Road; on Soi Buakhao it is more random, I had to take a moto-taxi once, cheap but hot and the driver's girl was louder than the radio.

Personal hack: if you have a bag and you just left a gogo bar or massage parlor, get on from the driver side ramp, they ignore noisy girls but not heavy bags; otherwise have a plan B: taxi app or walk to Highway 3 and grab a songthaew in the morning. Tired but made it home, meh.
