Got out late and wandered Loi Kroh to Night Bazaar, started at a bar, then ducked into a small soapy massage place off the main strip — thought it’d be tired but it was pretty relaxed and low-pressure, not the pushy Pattaya nonsense. The music was quiet, room smelled of jasmine, ended up chatting with the girl more than the usual quick service, felt kinda like a proper night out rather than one of those fishbowl bar runs.
Last time I was here it was busier, tonight felt more intimate, cheaper lady drinks and the whole scene moves slower, which I actually prefer. Not complaining, reckon Chiang Mai’s nightlife is underrated if you like a more chilled, girlfriend-y sort of arvo into night tempo, anyway gonna head back out for another beer or maybe another quick B2B, idk.
