Just got back to the hotel after a fairly messy night in Nana and Sukhumvit, a bit worse for wear and thinking about cash. I paid for a few beers, some lady drinks, one bar fine and a short time — fair prices but it adds up quick; is carrying a couple hundred enough or do you usually leave a larger wad for tip/last-minute soapy or freelancer offers?

Also any heads-up on common scams, police checkpoints late, or places that insist on card-only so u need cash beforehand? Cheers — james_bkk, been here a while but budgeting for nights out still confuses me sometimes.
