First time Bangkok nightclub run, hit Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy first?

So I just landed, sipping coffee and plotting tonight's run, kinda torn between Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy to kick off my first Bangkok nightclub crawl. Heard Nana is more chaotic, freelancers and big agogo energy, while Soi Cowboy is shorter street, neon, easier to bounce between bars — which one is safer to walk around solo and less sketchy for a first-timer?

Also curious about common scams or police checkpoints to watch for, and any micro-tips like which entrance/stairs to use or where not to wander after midnight, tell me ur experience, bro, prefer a wild night but not getting robbed...
