Got to Nana Plaza around 1:30am, had a few drinks at ground floor then wandered up the narrow stairs looking for a quieter gogo. By 3am I was properly lost, corridors looked the same, girls in the goldfish tank waving, music muffled, AC blasting so hard my jacket fogged up. Ended up finding Dragon Lady Bangkok after asking a barmaid who pointed me down a dark side soi, the place was quieter than the main floors and the service felt fair, not bad for a late-night detour.
Feeling went from annoyed to relieved, grabbed a short time and a quick Thai bath-style finish, nothing fancy just efficient, good for an old driver like me who's short on time. Walked back to my Nana hotel past the beer stalls, thought about how Bangkok's red light maze is easy to get lost in but also kinda part of the fun... meh, next time I'll remember the stairs on the left after the second landing.
