Met a freelancer in a gogo earlier, went back to my place around midnight, everything was smooth until final talk. She tried to push for double the agreed amount, said 'extra for taxi' and 'service charge' like that was a new rule. Told her no, we already agreed ST rate; she sulked, then offered a partial happy ending if I paid up. Nope, left annoyed, closed the door, slept off angry.
Lesson: be blunt up front. Agree cash amount before leaving bar or room, insist she writes it down or watch her count it out. In Bangkok you get cheeky people; not everyone is a freelancer scammer but some will push for more when there's no witness. Kept my cool, didn't escalate, next morning grabbed street massage and a beer, decently cheap, no drama, meh but better than arguing.
