First time at Bangkok soapy similar to Japan but totally different

Been to soaplands in Osaka many times but Bangkok soapy was a first. The system is similar pick a girl at reception and go to the room. But the price and atmosphere are totally different. In Japan it's normal to pay over 50,000 yen total, but Bangkok offers equivalent service at less than half. Though honestly, the service mindset in Japan is better. Bangkok girls felt like they were watching the clock. Also, quality varies wildly between shops even though they're all called "soapy." Cheap places are what you'd expect, expensive ones are proper. The gap between Bangkok and Tokyo prices is getting smaller these days.
