Been coming to Thailand every year since 2019. Every single trip the prices are higher but the service quality is exactly the same or worse. Bar fines up. Massage prices up. Lady drinks up. Hotel prices up. But the girls are less enthusiastic, the massage therapists rush through sessions, and the bars play the same music from 2015. I love Thailand but this trend is making me consider other destinations. Anyone else feeling this or am I just getting old and grumpy?

Yeah man, I see it too. Prices keep climbing while the vibe feels off. It's really making me think if I should check out those other spots like Vietnam or the Philippines next time.

I can relate, man. I've seen the same thing in Hat Yai prices keep creeping up but service not improving. Last time, I paid more for a massage but it felt rushed like they just want to get it over with. And the bars? Same old songs on repeat, not much vibe anymore. I still love the place, but I’m thinking maybe I should check out Vietnam too.

You're not wrong and you're not old. This is a real trend. The problem is that Thailand's nightlife industry has no incentive to improve because new tourists keep coming regardless. The only way things change is when customers share honest information so people can make informed choices. That's literally why sites like this exist.
